About this site
This website, or "blog," is a bit of a work in progress, so please bear with me.  As I have both a regular, full-time job and a family, I won't have the time to devote to this site that students, academics and full-time journalists have.  As a result, I may not be able to write each day -- we'll have to see how that plays out.  Nevertheless, I hope to have an engaging site with lively discussion of current news stories.

My interests include world affairs, Israel and Jewish themes, the news media, the law, education, pop culture and other things I'm sure I'm forgetting.

I'm a lawyer and writer.  I have written both humorous and serious pieces for the Washington Post, the Wall Street Journal, the Baltimore Sun, the Chicago Tribune, the Forward, the Legal Times, the American Lawyer  the American Bar Association Journal and elsewhere.  I also have appeared on Public Radio International's "Marketplace" program.  I have posted some of my pieces, with lnks in the left-hand column, and will continue to do so.

Feel free to provide me with any (constructive) feedback.  And thanks for visiting the site.
